Who We Are

Anna Murray

Anna is a composer and arts manager with a global reputation and experience in roles that run from concert production to managing international networks. She is the Director of Anna Murray Music Management Ltd, whose clients include: thee International Association of Music Centres (as Executive Manager), Quiet Music Ensemble (Manager), The Art of Collaboration (Administrative Manager), and the Contemporary Music Centre Ireland (project manager of the Contemporary Artist Network, Sparky Conversations events and NMDX international exchange projects).

Her expertise is in collaboration, international cooperation, and communication, and she also consults on language, communication and leadership skills development for businesses in Japan. For her client organisations, she has conducted branding and strategic reviews, developed policy, mission and vision documents, and overseen the details of events and projects on an ongoing basis.

As a composer,  she has unique insight into the running of arts organisations in Ireland and internationally, having experienced them from all sides of production, from behind the stage to on it. It is this experience and knowledge she brings to Capacity Arts Consulting.

Jamie McHugh

Jamie is a chartered accountant with over 10 years experience working in both private business and public practice. In his career, he has worked with entities in various industries such as global law firms, international music networks, multinational tech startups, national human rights organisations, individual artists and Irish businesses of all sizes.

He is an expert in assessing structures, workflows and processes, to identify, assess and provide solutions to weaknesses and build on strengths already in place. 

Trained in composition and with a long-standing love of the arts, he is passionate about helping arts organisations to reform their administration practices so there is more time to focus on creativity and collaboration.
